Marie-France Dupuis, better known by her stage name Coldwave, is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Quebec. She is best known for her work in the electronic music genre.
Coldwave began her career in the early 1990s, releasing her first album, "Themes", in 1992. The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching the top of the Quebec charts and selling over 100,000 copies. She followed this with the release of her second album, "Dreams", in 1994. The album was also a success, topping the Quebec charts and selling over 200,000 copies.
In 1996, Coldwave released her third album, "Passion". The album was a commercial success, topping the Quebec charts and selling over 300,000 copies. This was followed by the release of her fourth album, "Desire", in 1998. The album was also a commercial success, topping the Quebec charts and selling over 400,000 copies.
Coldwave has released five studio albums, one live album, and a compilation. Her most recent album, "Themes & Dreams", was released in 2016.
