BIOGRAPHY
Chris Raven is a French music artist born in Paris, France. He began his musical career playing piano in the city's jazz clubs before studying composition and arrangement with renowned French pianist Martial Solal. Chris Raven has worked as an arranger and composer for several French artists such as Michel Legrand, Claude Nougaro and Serge Gainsbourg. In 1977, he released his first solo album titled "Raven's Flight" which was a success in France, allowing him to gain widespread recognition. Subsequently, Chris Raven released several other albums including "The Paris Sessions" (1979), "New York Nights" (1981) and "Raven in the Snow" (1982). Furthermore, he composed the music for several French films including "The Last Metro" (1980) and "Children of Paradise" (1985). Chris Raven is now regarded as one of the best French music artists of his generation.
