BIOGRAPHY
Cainam is a French music artist born in 1988. He started his career in 2006 and released his first album, "Le Ciel est bleu" (The Sky is Blue), in 2007. Following that, Cainam published two more albums, "Les Étoiles" (The Stars) in 2009 and "Ailleurs" (Elsewhere) in 2011. In 2012, he released an EP titled "Les Chansons de l'amour" (The Songs of Love), followed by his fourth album, "L’Avenir" (The Future), in 2013.
Recognized for his romantic and melancholic songs, Cainam's lyrics often reflect his own love experiences. His musical style has been compared to that of Georges Brassens and Jacques Brel, labeling him a "new French chansonnier".
In 2014, Cainam was nominated for the Victoires de la Musique in the category "Male Artist of the Year" and was also nominated in the category "Album of the Year for Chansons" for his album "L’Avenir".
Currently based in Paris with his wife and son, Cainam continues his tours and the recording of new songs. He is also working on a musical film project.
