Binary System is a French-American electronic music duo consisting of French producer Olivier Girouard and American visual artist Mandy Mahoney, specialized in video visualization. Their music is an eclectic fusion of various genres, ranging from techno to ambient music, including classical and experimental music. Both Girouard and Mahoney studied music and visual arts at university and began collaborating in 2011. In 2012, they released their first album, "The Binary System", which was well received by critics. In 2013, they released another album titled "The Sun Also Rises", which was even more successful than their first opus. In addition to their albums, Binary System has also released several singles and EPs, and has collaborated with numerous artists, including French DJ Laurent Garnier.
