BIOGRAPHY
Billy Hendrix is an American musician born on January 27, 1954 in Memphis, Tennessee. He began his musical career playing blues in Memphis's clubs. In 1977, he joined the rock 'n' roll band The Stray Cats, which achieved international success with hits such as "Rock This Town" and "Stray Cat Strut". Hendrix left the group in 1982 to embark on a solo career. He has released several solo albums, including the most recent, "The Blues Is Alive and Well", which was released in 2018. Hendrix is recognized as one of the best blues guitarists of his generation.
