"Basic Dawn is a French electronic music producer and DJ from Lyon, born in 1981. Discovering electronic music through the clubs and techno nights of his hometown, he began producing his own tracks in 2000. In 2003, he founded the French electronic label "Dawn Records" with his friend and fellow DJ Licious. Basic Dawn has released several albums and singles, such as "The French Connection" (2004) and "The Future is Now" (2006). His productions have been supported by many renowned DJs and artists, such as David Guetta, Bob Sinclar and Martin Solveig. In 2010, he was named "Best French DJ" at the Victoires de la Musique, a major music award ceremony in France."
