Bio: Bart Claesen is a Belgian composer and musician, born in 1970. He studied composition with Luc Van Hove and electroacoustic music with Godfried-Willem Raes. He also studied piano and clarinet. Claesen has been active as a jazz and rock musician before focusing on composition. His works have been performed at numerous festivals throughout Europe, North America, and Asia. Claesen is the author of several books on music, including "Introduction to Electroacoustic Music" and "Composing with Computers".
