BIOGRAPHY
Connecticut-based electronic music artist Nathaniel "Nate" Rathbun, better known as Audien, started creating music in 2008. He quickly gained attention with a series of impressive remixes. In 2012, he signed with the trance label Anjunabeats. His melodic track "Wayfarer" in 2013 was the first song played on the premiere episode of Above & Beyond's radio show, Group Therapy.
In 2014, Audien shifted towards a more pop sound with "Something Better" and "Insomnia", the latter reaching the top of the dance charts. In the years that followed, he continued to explore a variety of styles, incorporating elements of progressive house, trance, and pop music into his production. He is especially known for his melodic and energetic drops, appealing to fans of both pure electronic music and more commercial sounds.
In 2019, Audien released his first full-length album, 'Escapism'. This record sees a return to his trance roots while still incorporating pop elements. He has continued to diversify and reinvent himself, proving to be a true chameleon of electronic music.
