BIOGRAPHY
Asbjorn Hegdahl was born in Norway in 1892. Self-taught musician, he began his career playing the violin in the local orchestra. He then moved to Sweden where he became a member of the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to his work as a musician, Hegdahl was also a accomplished composer and arranger. He wrote several symphonies and concertos, as well as several pieces for solo violin. He passed away in Norway in 1968.
