Alexey Kozlov is a Russian composer and musician born in 1966. He studied composition with Nikolai Sidelnikov and percussion with Valery Gavrilin. In 1987, he joined the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, where he played until 1991. Since then, he has worked as a freelance musician with numerous ensembles and orchestras in Russia and abroad. Kozlov has composed a wide variety of music, ranging from instrumental and vocal music to electroacoustic, theatrical, and film music. His works have been performed at numerous contemporary music festivals in Russia and abroad.
