Alexander Piven is a Russian musical artist born in 1981 in Saint-Petersburg. He began his career as a guitarist in a rock band, before studying composition and piano at the Saint-Petersburg University. After graduating, Piven became a composer and arranger for various artists and ensembles. In 2006, he founded his own music ensemble, the Alexander Piven Ensemble, which specializes in classical and jazz music. In addition to his work with the ensemble, Piven also composes music for film and theater.
