Alex Frolov is a Russian musical artist born in 1981. He began his career as a producer and DJ in 1998, and subsequently founded his own electronic music brand, AFX, in 2003. In 2006, he released his first solo album, "The Way of the Sun". Since then, he has released two more albums, "The Way of the Sun II" (2008) and "The Way of the Sun III" (2010). Alex Frolov is known for his melancholic melodies and energetic rhythms. His songs have been played at numerous parties and clubs around the world. In 2012, he was named DJ of the year by the Russian magazine "GQ". Alex Frolov currently resides in Moscow.
