Air is a French music duo formed in 1995 by Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. Their music combines elements of pop, electronica, and classical music. They have sold over 8 million albums worldwide and have been nominated for Grammy Awards and Brit Awards. In 2003, their album "Talkie Walkie" reached number one on the charts in France and England. Their album "Pocket Symphony", released in 2007, was nominated for a Grammy Award and reached number five on the charts in France. In 2009, they released "Love 2", which reached number two on the charts in France. In 2012, they released "Le Voyage Dans La Lune", inspired by Georges Méliès's film of the same name. In 2015, they released "Music for Museum", an album of electronic and acoustic music recorded live in museums around the world. In 2017, they released "Twentyears", an album of covers and remixes of their favorite songs.
