Solarstone, real name Richard John Mowatt, is a British music producer, DJ, and founder of the label Pure Trance Recordings. Active since the 1990s, Solarstone is primarily associated with the trance genre. He is known for his strikingly melodic compositions and high-quality production style. He achieved success in 1999 with his single "Seven Cities", which became a trance classic. Since then, Solarstone has remained influential in the international trance scene. Throughout his career, Solarstone has released five studio albums, all critically acclaimed: 'AnthologyOne', 'Touchstone', 'Pure', 'Shield', and 'Blue'. He has also released several mix compilations, including the well-received 'Solaris International' series. In addition to his career as a producer and DJ, Solarstone is the founder of Pure Trance Recordings, a label dedicated to spreading trance music in its purest form. He is also known for his weekly podcast 'Pure Trance Radio', which is listened to by thousands of trance music fans worldwide.
