BIOGRAPHY
Alpha 9 is a side project of the Russian electronic music producer Arty, whose real name is Artem Stoliarov. Alpha 9 began in 2009 and gained recognition with tracks such as "Come Home", "Bliss" and "The Night Is Ours". It is an identity that Arty uses to produce and play progressive trance, while under his own name, he produces and plays a variety of styles such as progressive house and big room.
Arty was trained at the prestigious Savinsky Music Academy in Russia, where he studied piano and musical composition. He started producing electronic music in his teenage years and signed his first record deal with the British label Enhanced Progressive in 2009.
He is the first Russian artist to be featured in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs and has been supported by leading DJs and producers such as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, and Axwell. His live performances have been praised for their energy and originality, with sets ranging from big room electro house to the more soothing and enveloping trance sounds of his Alpha 9 persona.
The Alpha 9 brand is particularly appreciated in the trance scene, where his remixes of genre classics and beautifully produced originals have captivated audiences worldwide.
