Wankelmut, born in 1987 in Berlin as Jacob Dilßner, is a German electronic music DJ and producer. He is best known for his 2012 remix of "One Day / Reckoning Song" by Asaf Avidan & the Mojos, which became an international hit. This remix, characterized by its melodic deep house style, propelled Wankelmut to the international stage of DJing and music production.
After this success, Wankelmut continued to produce remixes and original tracks, collaborating with various artists and exploring different aspects of electronic music. He has established a distinctive style, blending deep house, techno, and electro influences, while incorporating melodic elements and captivating vocals.
