Steve Roberts is an American artist born on October 22, 1966 in Los Angeles, California. He began his career as a house and techno music producer and DJ in Los Angeles clubs in the 1980s. In 1990, he co-founded the techno music label LAX Records. In 1992, Roberts released his first album, "The Future of Techno", under the name "The Steve Roberts Project". The album was a commercial success and reached second place on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart. He continued to release albums and singles under various aliases, such as "The Steve Roberts Experience", "The Steve Roberts Band" and "The Steve Roberts Group". In 2000, he released his first solo album, "The Art of Techno", under his real name, which was also a commercial success and reached fifth place on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart. He has since released several remix albums, including "The Art of Techno Remixes" (2000) and "The Future of Techno Remixes" (2001). In 2003, he released his second solo album, "The Art of House", which was also a commercial success. He has continued to release solo albums, including "The Art of Trance" (2006), "The Art of Dance" (2009) and "The Art of Electronic Music" (2012), all of which have reached good positions in music charts.
