BIOGRAPHY
Snow Patrol is a Scottish indie rock band, hailing from Glasgow. The group is formed of five musicians: Gary Lightbody, Nathan Connolly, Paul Wilson, Jonny Quinn, and Johnny McDaid. Their music is marked by influences of rock, pop, and folk.
The band experienced significant commercial success with the release of their 2006 album, "Eyes Open", which reached the top of the charts in the UK and was certified seven times platinum. Their following album, "A Hundred Million Suns", was also a success, earning a four times platinum certification.
In 2011, Snow Patrol released their fifth studio album, "Fallen Empires", which peaked at number five on the UK charts. A year prior, in November 2010, the band had already released a compilation album titled "Up to Now".
