Shaggy is an artist and music producer born on October 22, 1968 in Kingston, Jamaica. His birth name is Orville Richard Burrell, but he is better known by his stage name "Shaggy", which refers to his shaggy appearance during his teenage years. Shaggy rose to fame with hit singles such as "Oh Carolina", "Boombastic", "It Wasn't Me", and "Angel". The artist is known for blending reggae, R&B, and pop to create a unique sound.
