Raye, born Rachael Keen, is an English musical artist who was born on October 24, 1997. She is known for her talents as a singer, songwriter, and producer. Raye began attracting the attention of the music industry while still attending the British BRIT School of Music, which has produced talents such as Amy Winehouse and Adele. Her early productions, a blend of pop, R&B, and electro, including her demo "Hotbox", earned her early recognition from critics. In 2016, she released her first EP 'Welcome to the Winter' and has since collaborated with numerous artists, including Jonas Blue on the hit 'By Your Side' and Jax Jones on the hit 'You Don't Know Me', which reached number 3 on the UK charts. In 2018, Raye was nominated for the British Single of the Year award at the Brit Awards for 'You Don't Know Me'. Since then, she has continued to write and produce music, including for other artists such as Beyoncé, John Legend, and Charli XCX.
