He is the leader of the duo The Neptunes, formed with Chad Hugo, and is a member of the group N.E.R.D. In 2013, he was named producer of the year by Billboard magazine. He has also won several other accolades such as the BET Awards, Grammy Awards, and BET Hip Hop Awards.
