Moguai is a German DJ and music producer. He was born on June 23, 1974 in Recklinghausen, Germany. Moguai started his career in 1992 as a techno DJ and music producer. In 1995, he founded the techno music label Platipus Records with John Bissen. Platipus was one of the first techno music labels to sign artists such as The Prodigy, Leftfield and Orbital. In 2001, Moguai founded the house music label Punx Records. Since then, he has released several albums and singles under his own name, as well as under the aliases Punx Soundcheck, Beatgees and Phunx. Moguai is also known for his remixes of popular songs, including those by Madonna, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga.
