Maroon 5 is an American music group formed in 1994. The group consists of Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton, and Sam Farrar. Their music is mainly pop and rock, but they have also explored other genres such as R&B, funk, and disco. Their first album, Songs About Jane, was a commercial success and reached number one on the Billboard 200. The second album, It Won't Be Soon Before Long, was also a success and reached number two on the Billboard 200. The third album, Hands All Over, reached number three on the Billboard 200. The fourth album, Overexposed, reached number four on the Billboard 200. The fifth album, V, reached number one on the Billboard 200. The sixth album, Red Pill Blues, reached number two on the Billboard 200.
