Doja Cat is an American music artist born on October 3, 1995. She began her music career by posting song covers on YouTube in 2012, before signing with the independent label Kemosabe Records in 2014. Her first single, "So High", was released in March 2014 and reached the top 40 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart. Her debut studio album, Amala, was released in March 2018 and reached the fourth spot on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart. In 2019, she released her second studio album, Hot Pink, which reached the third spot on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart and peaked at number 11 on the Billboard 200. She also released two singles that made it to the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, "Juicy" and "Say So".
