"DJ Earworm is a music producer based in San Francisco, known for his popular mashups, particularly his annual compilations 'United State of Pop' blending the 25 most popular songs of the year. He began his career in 2004 with his first mashup 'A Night at the Booty Bar', followed by several other successes such as 'Funkytown Breaks Down' and 'like OMG, Baby'. In 2009, he released his first 'United State of Pop', bringing together the hits of the year. Since then, he has continued to release a new edition of 'United State of Pop' each year. DJ Earworm is also known for his film soundtrack mashups, such as 'The Hunger Games' and 'The Hobbit'."
