Wynter Gordon is an American singer, songwriter, performer, and producer born on July 9, 1984, in Newark, New Jersey.
Raised in Belleville, New Jersey, she began singing and dancing at the age of four. She studied classical dance, jazz, and hip-hop and participated in several local theater productions. At the age of 13, she started writing her own songs and signed a development contract with Big Beat Records, a production and management company, at the age of 15.
In 2007, her first single "Daddy's Little Girl" reached fourth place on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart. In 2009, her first album, "With the Music I Die," reached fourth place on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart. In 2011, her second album, "Trespassing," topped the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
In 2013, she released her third album, "Human Condition," which peaked at number five on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart. In 2016, her fourth album, "Beast," reached second place on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
Wynter Gordon has collaborated with numerous artists, including David Guetta, Flo Rida, Snoop Dogg, will.i.am, Tiësto, and Jason Derulo. Her songs have been featured in various TV shows, films, and video games such as Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, Step Up 3D, and Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
