Timmy Trumpet is an Australian electronic music producer and DJ, also known for incorporating elements of jazz music into his productions through his skilled use of the trumpet. Born in Sydney in 1982, he grew up in a music-loving family and began playing the trumpet at the age of 4. Becoming a professional musician in his teens, he played in jazz clubs before venturing into electronic dance music. In 2011, he won the "Take Me Out" DJ competition, which boosted his career and led to international tours. His first major success was the track "Freaks" in 2014, which topped the charts in Australia and New Zealand.
