Thomas Grand is a French artist born in France in 1978. He began his career playing piano in jazz clubs in Paris. In 2001, he recorded his first solo album, "The Paris Sessions". Thomas Grand continued to play piano in Parisian jazz clubs while adding other instruments to his repertoire, such as the guitar, bass, and drums. In 2003, he released his second solo album, "Grand Piano", which was well received by critics. In 2006, his third solo album, "The Thomas Grand Orchestra", was praised by critics and was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Jazz Instrumental Album. In 2009, his fourth solo album, "The Thomas Grand Quintet", received rave reviews and was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Album.
