BIOGRAPHY
Marie-Josée Gagnon is a Canadian musical artist from Montreal, Quebec. She began her career playing piano and flute in her high school and college orchestras. After studying classical music at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal, she obtained her degree and began teaching piano and flute. Passionate about chamber music, she has also played in several ensembles and orchestras. In 2003, she founded her own ensemble, the Quatuor Gagnon, with which she has recorded two albums. In addition to her musical career, she has written several books on classical music and piano teaching.
