BIOGRAPHY
Samantha Fox is a British singer born on July 15, 1966 in Mile End, in the London borough of Tower Hamlets. She is known for her 1980s pop songs such as "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)", "I Wanna Have Some Fun" and "Do Ya Do Ya (Wanna Please Me)". Fox began her modeling career at the age of 16, after being discovered by fashion photographer Géraldine Larkin. She was later chosen as one of The Sun tabloid's Page Three Girls, where she posed nude several times. In 1984, she launched her music career with the single "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)", which became a hit in the UK and Europe. In 1986, she released her debut album, Touch Me, which reached number one in the UK. The album was certified gold and sold over five million copies worldwide. Fox has released seven studio albums throughout her career, including her latest, 21st Century Fox, in 1995. She has also acted in several films, including the science fiction movie The Last Warrior (1984) and the horror film Evil Spirits (1990). In 2019, Fox was inducted into the British Musicians' Hall of Fame.
