BIOGRAPHY
Sam Jones was an American jazz musician, born on October 1, 1924, in Chicago and died on August 15, 1981, in Los Angeles.
He is regarded as one of the greatest jazz bassists of all time. He played with many great jazz musicians, such as Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Sonny Rollins, Thelonious Monk, and John Coltrane.
