Robert E. Rivera, also known as Robbie Rivera, (born July 7, 1973, in San Juan, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican house music producer, DJ, and remixer. He is the founder of the label Juicy Music.
Rivera grew up in a musical environment. His father was a salsa singer and his mother, a classical pianist. At the age of seven, he began playing drums in a rock band. At the age of fourteen, he began playing bass in a reggae band. At the age of sixteen, he began playing guitar and writing his own songs. At eighteen, he began working as a DJ in the clubs of San Juan.
In 1996, Rivera moved to Miami, Florida, USA. In 1997, he released his first single, "The Funkatron". In 1998, he released his first album, The New King of House. In 1999, he released his second album, Funkadelicious. In 2000, he released his third album, Back to Basics. In 2001, he released his fourth album, Starring... Robbie Rivera. In 2002, he released his fifth album, A Thousand Miles. In 2003, he released his sixth album, Make Me Feel.
In 2004, Rivera founded the label Juicy Music. In 2005, he released his seventh album, Sex Music for Sex People. In 2006, he released his eighth album, Funk-O-Rama. In 2007, he released his ninth album, Dance @ the Disco. In 2008, he released his tenth album, The Main Event. In 2009, he released his eleventh album, A Thousand Miles Remixes. In 2010, he released his twelfth album, Starring... Robbie Rivera Remixes. In 2011, he released his thirteenth album, Juicy Ibiza. In 2012, he released his fourteenth album, The Ultimate Collection. In 2013, he released his fifteenth album, A Thousand Miles Remixes 2.0. In 2014, he released his sixteenth album, The Ultimate Collection 2.0. In 2015, he released his seventeenth album, The Ultimate Collection 3.0.
