BIOGRAPHY
Oleg Farrier is a Russian classical and contemporary music artist. He was born in 1966 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He studied music at the University of Saint Petersburg and went on to pursue a career as a soloist and chamber musician. In 1994, he was appointed principal soloist of the Saint Petersburg Chamber Orchestra. Farrier has also taught music at the University of Saint Petersburg and served as the artistic director of the contemporary music ensemble "Ensemble 21". In 2006, he was named the principal conductor of the Saint Petersburg Chamber Orchestra. Farrier has toured extensively in Europe, North America, and Asia. His recordings have been critically acclaimed and have received numerous awards. Farrier currently resides in Saint Petersburg with his wife and two children.
