BIOGRAPHY

Mindhunters is a French musical artist, born in 1977. He began his career playing classical music, before turning to jazz and improvised music. He studied with renowned musicians such as pianist Joachim Kuhn and saxophonist Jean-Marie Londeix. In 2000, he formed the Mindhunters Trio with Thomas Bramerie on bass and Eric Harland on drums. The trio released two albums, "First Light" (2001) and "Second Sight" (2003). In 2004, he created the Mindhunters Quintet, with Thomas Enhco on trumpet, Baptiste Herbin on saxophone, Thomas Bramerie on bass, Eric Harland on drums. The quintet released two albums, "Live at the New Morning" (2005) and "Mind Games" (2006). In 2007, he founded the Mindhunters Sextet, with Thomas Enhco on trumpet, Baptiste Herbin on saxophone, Thomas Bramerie on bass, Eric Harland on drums, and Mino Cinelu on percussion. The sextet released the album "Seven" (2008). In 2009, he created the Mindhunters Octet, with Thomas Enhco on trumpet, Baptiste Herbin on saxophone, Thomas Bramerie on bass, Eric Harland on drums, Mino Cinelu on percussion, Benoît Delbecq on piano, and Marc Ducret on guitar. The octet released the album "Eight" (2010). In 2011, he formed the Mindhunters Nonet, with Thomas Enhco on trumpet, Baptiste Herbin on saxophone, Thomas Bramerie on bass, Eric Harland on drums, Mino Cinelu on percussion, Benoît Delbecq on piano, Marc Ducret on guitar, and Vincent Courtois on trombone. The nonet released the album "Nine" (2012). In 2013, he founded the Mindhunters Orchestra, with a large number of musicians, including brass, woodwinds, strings, percussion, and singers. The orchestra released the album "Ten" (2014). In 2015, he created the Mindhunters Big Band, with a similar formation to the orchestra, but with additional artists. The big band released the album "Eleven" (2016).
