Mason Tyler is an American country music singer. Born and raised in southern Louisiana, he began his musical career performing in honky-tonk style clubs. He secured a contract with country music label Big Machine Records in 2006 and released his self-titled debut album the same year. The album received critical acclaim and peaked at number one on the US country albums chart. In 2007, Tyler released his second studio album, "Riding with the Angels", which was commercially successful and reached number two on the US country albums chart. His third album, "Southern Son", was released in 2010 and also fared well commercially, peaking at number four on the US country albums chart. His fourth studio album, also titled "Mason Tyler", was released in 2013 and peaked at number two on the US country albums chart. In 2016, Tyler released his fifth studio album, "The Story of My Life", which was commercially successful and peaked at number one on the US country albums chart. His sixth studio album, "Roots and Wings", was released in 2019 and peaked at number two on the US country albums chart.
