Maino, born Jermaine Coleman on August 30, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York, is an American rapper. He is known particularly for his song "Hi Hater" and his album "If Tomorrow Comes..." released in 2009. Prior to his musical career, Maino spent ten years in prison, an experience that greatly influenced many of his works. After signing with record labels Universal Records and Atlantic Records, he was able to launch his career and gain recognition. He is also known for his collaborations with other artists and remains active in the music industry.
