Loona, also known as Hee-jin Kim, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and actress born on October 15, 1992, in Seoul. She began her career in 2007 as a member of the Cube Entertainment girl group, 4minute. In 2016, she left the group to focus on her solo career.
In 2017, Loona made her solo debut with the mini-album Love & Live, followed by her first full-length studio album, + +, in 2018. In 2019, she made her Japanese debut with the album Over The Rainbow.
Loona is a versatile artist whose music is influenced by various genres including pop, R&B, dance, and electronic music. Her songs often tackle melancholic and introspective themes such as love, loss, loneliness, and nostalgia.
