Liam Payne is a British singer and musician, born on August 29, 1993, in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. He began his musical career by participating in school musicals. In 2008, he auditioned for the British talent show "The X Factor," but did not make it to the finals. It was in 2010 that his professional career started when he became a member of the boy band One Direction, formed during "The X Factor."
