Keri Lynn Hilson, born December 5, 1982 in Decatur, Georgia, is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress. She began her career in the music industry working with artists such as Ludacris, Usher, and Polow da Don, before signing with Mosley Music Group in 2006. Her debut studio album, "In a Perfect World...", was released in 2009. The album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 and produced the singles "Energy", "Return the Favor" and "Knock You Down", which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Hilson has also appeared in several films, including "Think Like a Man" (2012) and "Almost Christmas" (2016).
