JoJo, born Joanna Noëlle Levesque on December 20, 1990, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She gained international fame as a teenager with her hit "Leave (Get Out)" released in 2004. This single propelled JoJo into the spotlight, making her the youngest solo artist to top the Billboard Pop Songs chart with this song.
JoJo released her self-titled debut album in 2004 at the age of 13, which was well-received and achieved commercial success. She followed up with her second album, "The High Road" in 2006, with the single "Too Little Too Late" also ranking highly in various international charts.
However, her career was hindered by issues with her record label, preventing her from releasing new albums for several years. After legal battles, JoJo was finally released from her contract and regained control of her musical career. She made a comeback in 2016 with the album "Mad Love" and more recently, in 2020, she released "Good to Know".
