Jam & Spoon was a German electronic music duo formed in 1991 in Frankfurt, consisting of Rolf Ellmer (alias Jam El Mar) and Markus Löffel (alias Mark Spoon). The group is best known for their contributions to the 90s trance and electronica scene. They gained international fame with remixes and original tracks, including hits like "Right in the Night", "Stella", and "Find Me (Odyssey to Anyoona)". Their music combines elements of trance, house, and ambient, characterized by hypnotic melodies and rhythmic percussion. The duo was also renowned for their innovative remixes for other artists, thereby contributing to the evolution of the electronic music landscape. Unfortunately, the group ceased to exist in 2006 following the unexpected death of Markus Löffel. Nevertheless, their influence remains significant in the electronic music genre.
