BIOGRAPHY
INXS is an Australian rock band, originating from Sydney. Formed in 1977, the band consisted of six members: Andrew Farriss, Michael Hutchence, Tim Farriss, Jon Farriss, Kirk Pengilly, and Garry Gary Beers. The group achieved international success in the 1980s and 1990s with hits such as "Need You Tonight", "Mediate", and "Never Tear Us Apart". In 1997, Michael Hutchence, the lead singer of the band, died by suicide. The band continued to tour and record without him, and eventually retired in 2012.
