BIOGRAPHY
Guru Josh was a British musician, renowned as one of the pioneers of house music and acid jazz in the 1980s and 1990s. Born as Paul Walden in North London, UK, in 1964, he began his career in a variety of bands, including a punk rock group before transitioning to electronic music.
He found international success with his first single, Infinity, which became a top 10 hit in many countries, including the UK. The song's success led to a recording and performing career across Europe.
After several years of success, he eventually left the music industry to focus on other interests, including art and business. However, in the 2000s, he made a memorable comeback with a re-release of his hit, Infinity, which once again reached the top 10 in many countries.
Guru Josh passed away suddenly in Ibiza, Spain, in 2015. Nevertheless, he remains an iconic figure in electronic music.
