"General Base was a German techno-eurodance music project, primarily known for their 1993 hit, 'Poison.'
The group consisted of producer Michael Münzing and rapper Frank Farian, who also produced hits for Milli Vanilli, La Bouche, and Boney M.
'Poison' was a cover of the 1989 hit single by British group BBD. It reached number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 3 on the UK Singles Chart.
The only other single by the group to chart was 'I See You,' which reached number 58 on the Hot 100 and number 11 on the UK chart.
General Base disbanded in 1994."
