Fat Joe, born Joseph Antonio Cartagena on August 19, 1970, in New York's Bronx neighborhood, is an American rapper and music producer of Puerto Rican and Cuban descent. He is known for being one of the founding members of the hip-hop group Terror Squad. Fat Joe started his musical career in the 1990s and quickly gained recognition for his unique style and impactful lyrics. His debut album, "Represent," released in 1993, introduced the hit "Flow Joe," which topped rap music charts. Since then, Fat Joe has released several successful albums, including "Jealous Ones Still Envy (J.O.S.E.)" in 2001, featuring the hit "What's Luv?" with Ashanti, which remains one of his most significant commercial successes. Over the years, Fat Joe has collaborated with numerous influential hip-hop artists and beyond, contributing to hits like "I Won't Tell" with J. Holiday and "All the Way Up" with Remy Ma and French Montana. In addition to his musical career, Fat Joe has also made appearances in film and television.
