BIOGRAPHY
Darren Tate is a British trance producer and DJ. He is best known for his work with the trance group Above & Beyond, as well as for his solo work under the pseudonym DT8 Project. Tate began his career as a club DJ in the early 1990s, before transitioning to music production in the mid-1990s. He found success with his first major release, the track "Destination" in 1996, released on Paul van Dyk's label Vandit Records. Tate continued to release music both as DT8 Project and under his own name, and has remixed tracks for numerous high-profile artists, including Madonna, Delerium, and Tiësto. In 2000, he joined Above & Beyond, replacing original member Paavo Siljamäki.
