Emma Hewitt, born on April 8, 1988 in Geelong, is an Australian singer, songwriter, and music producer of trance music. She is best known for her collaborations with the German trance duo Cosmic Gate, as well as for her covers of songs by Coldplay, Dash Berlin, and Armin van Buuren.
Growing up in a musical family, Emma began singing and playing the guitar at the age of 8. At 12, she started writing her own songs.
In 2006, she signed with the music production company Arkade and began working with Cosmic Gate. In 2007, she released her first single, "The Spell," in collaboration with the duo.
In 2009, Emma released her debut solo album, "Burning Bright," which reached number one on the Australian dance album chart and was certified gold.
In 2011, her second solo album, "Falling Away," was also certified gold in Australia.
In 2012, her third solo album, "Colours in the Dark," saw similar success.
In 2013, 2014 and the following years, Emma continued to release solo albums that all reached number one on the Australian dance album chart and were certified gold.
