Carola Häggkvist, better known by her stage name Carola, is a Swedish singer born on September 8, 1966 in Stockholm. Introduced to music at a young age, she began her music career in the 80s.
She rose to fame by winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991 for Sweden with the song "Fångad av en stormvind". After her Eurovision success, Carola continued to climb in the music industry, releasing several successful albums and singles.
