Aurora is a French-Canadian music artist, born on June 26, 1985, in Montreal, Quebec. Growing up in a family of musicians, she began her career singing in the choirs of the Montreal Opera. After studying piano and composition at McGill University, she launched her career as a singer-songwriter and performer. Her debut album, "Enchanted," was released in 2007, followed by five more studio albums, including her latest, "A Different Kind of Human (Step 2)," which came out in 2019. Aurora has also released two EPs, "All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend" (2016) and "Infections of a Different Kind (Step 1)" (2018). She has collaborated with renowned artists such as Hans Zimmer, David Bowie, Max Martin, and Steve Mackey, while appearing on albums by Coldplay, Katy Perry, and David Guetta. In 2019, she was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Children's Song category for her song "Animal."
