His parents were DJs and founded the music festival Universo Paralello, introducing Alok to music from a young age. Alok quickly established himself among international DJs with his distinctive style that blends progressive house music with more traditional Brazilian sounds. He has been ranked in the Top 100 DJs in the world by DJ Mag, and has collaborated with many renowned artists, including Anitta and Armin van Buuren. In addition to his music, Alok is also recognized for his philanthropic work. He is one of the founders of the Instituto Alok, a charitable organization that supports education and encourages social engagement among young people.
